Winter days are here and snow is falling outside our window. Everyone is feeling cold and longing for a bowl of hot soup to warm them up. Enter this vibrant, warming Carrot Soup with Ginger and Turmeric.

This bright orange soup is completely vegan. We like to serve it with some yogurt or creme fraiche, but you can choose your own vegan dairy substitute or leave it out completely. We love to make our carrot ginger turmeric soup with a sweet potato to enhance the sweet taste. The fresh ginger gives it a spicy hint. Turmeric is really having a moment right now, but has been a part of the YogicDiet for ages.

Oh and did I tell you it only takes 5 ingredients and 30 minutes to make? Isn’t that just marvelous and ideal for a weeknight dinner.

Our apps have many more delicious vegetarian and vegan recipes. With each recipe we give you the yogic benefits of the used ingredients. Besides that we give you ways to balance your chakras with food and meditations. Download from the AppStore here
